Icecast Streaming Media Server

Hi, I've gotten my streams to work with icecast2 + oddcast plugin for quintessential (just think winamp but way smaller), and I want to change the look of my web interface. I have an ubuntu server and work usually on my ubuntu box (besides today when I was on my windows partition).
Anyways, I've checked out the web folder and it seems the server puts up info from the server-version.xsl file with styles.css.
I've been searching online for sample templates or anybody referring to changing their icecast web look, but found absolutely nothing.
I can get around in html, will dabble in this xsl or xml stuff if I have to, but am wondering does it have to be in xsl, what have other people done, what is possible to do (while still displaying info from server)???
Also, I would like to take a domain name that I have registered (though unused, it's dns servers are under the host) and use it for my 'radio'...does anybody have any idea how to pull it into icecast2 - or does it automatically work once I set it up properly with apache - or, hmmm, i dont know...

For webroot files, if you want access to the stats for your page then you'll need to use an xsl page. I haven't seen much in the way of sites changing the look extensively, they may of customized it a bit but on the whole many don't change it which is probably why you haven't found anything.

As for what can be done with the xsl pages then anything that they allow, you can certainly mix html and xsl with css, as the files already demonstrate that but if you get the /admin/stats page then you see what information you could process (although webroot page only see non-hidden stats).

icecast and apache will have to work on different ports on the same domain. Just set <hostname> to what you want.

wait - I think I get it now. There's no need to configure icecast web since I could keep port 8000 unannounced and just give a link for ppl to download stream on the regular site, right? duhhh (to myself)...
