For some reason, doesn't really depend on the length of time, the Icecast2 server simply falls over.

When it does, it leaves nothing in the logs, and only seems to happen when we switch from one source to another (however, it has happened once or twice during streaming)

Being as it leaves _nothing_ in the logs, I'm turning to you guys.

Any suggestions?

well nothing much to go on, not even the platform to use. I can only suggest trying out the trunk code. Look on my website for a win32 build or the link off their for the source tarballs for trunk.
