Hello,
I try to use icecast2 and ices2. The server is running but if I try to run ices I get this error.

With google and in this forum I found nothing that help.
I try arecord -f cd sample.wav but the wav is 44kb and nothing inside.

If arecord fails to record anything then there's a more significant problem with interacting with the device. Whether it's some hardware setup or a driver issue I don't know. Collect what information you can about your device, pci settings etc and talk to the alsa people to get arecord working. Then come back to ices.

I solved it. Device is default and I use alsamixer to switch capture on. |
