| When trying to establish a channel, it takes about 10 seconds from requesting a channel to playing the requested stream. Experiences indicate that the media server needs about 20 kb data to be able to reply the play request. Does any expert know how this time can be reduced? |

The delay in starting playback is mainly down to the players buffer. The burst eliminates it by giving the player slightly older stream data.
