I just updated from Icecast KH-7 to KH-32 and it seems that I can no longer send Icecast a HUP signal to re-read the config. Is this normal?
At first I thought it was the chroot, but I disabled that and got the same thing. Listeners can continue to listen to streams that they've already connected to, but no new connections are allowed and I can't hit the status page anymore; it just times out.
Any thoughts? I have log level 5, and there's nothing relevant within the error log. |

You could send the error log to me, along with the xml (no passwords are needed) and what changes were done over the HUP. You are right in the a chroot could be an issue but it sounds like the listening sockets have closed down for some reason.

This turns out to be a build issue for openbsd, fixed in next update
