Hi,

I am having an issue where users are able to save the stream which I am broadcasting.

If a user types is their browser

http://MyDomainName.com:8000/live

It prompts the user to either open or save an mp3 file. If the user chooses to save the file it will begin to down load the live stream. If there is a break in the broadcast (I am not broadcasting 24/7 as yet) the user will have saved the stream as an mp3 file.

If a user types in to their browser

http://MyDomainName.com:8000/live.m3u

Everything works as expected.

Is there any way to disable this so users are unable to save the stream?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No. That's not how the protocol works. You could do some user-agent filtering, but that would a) risk breaking some clients, and b) be absolutely trivial to defeat.

Please tell me how you ot software working.

I must be dense but we want to stream from a remote studio to main studio like point to point simplex and only one node being allowed to receive.
