I've been hoping for a usable OSX client for quite some time. So far, all options have met with killing obstacles:
Nicecast: not free, first of all, which breaks some of my plans. But I would probably pay for it if I was ever able to get the demo to work. On OSX 10.3, it won't even install.
MuSE: No development in years, and not even my fastest machine will broadcast without skipping. That's if I can get it to work at all.
ices: I hear rumors that you can build ices on OSX, but I have my doubts that the open source compatible sound drivers will work. Anyone know if this is possible?
Anyone done any work on this? Is a fink/OSX compatible version even on the table?

it's like having no xxx for years! there is nothing else than...
nicecast.. it works very stable for me. 10.4
maybe try a apple update... or ... install 10.5 
but if you really want to be strict... you whould have to install a linux or *bsd to have all open source (in a way.)
