|
|
I run several icecast instances with different configuration files in order
to start them in different ports.
Is there any way to limit bitrate configuring it in icecast.xml?
Does anyone runs icecast on OpenBSD and has a way of limiting the bitrate using pf?

i am new to icecast.
but as far as i has read, you should lower the bitstream.
and pf is for firewalling, i think you meen the queing option.
i think that will produce gaps in your stream.. |

The bitrate could be limited in different ways. I have things in testing to see how things work out and so far so good. Generally you want to limit the incoming stream bitrate or outgoing bandwidth of all listeners of the stream.
