Icecast Streaming Media Server

Broadcasting perfectly as I've listened, but no lstening in yp, despite the fact my error log says the yp is touched. Any ideas as I've searched the forum and no joy!

check the <hostname> setting in your icecast XML, if that is set as localhost or any other non-addressable name/IP then the stream directory will drop it as being unreachable.
