I would like to know if there is a way of knowing how much bandwidth was consumed over a mount point or to setup something like <max-bandwidth>5gb</max-bandwidth> so that one ca tell that a mount point has consumed such bandwidth for a certain period of time.

I'm trying some bandwidth metrics in the kh tree, feel free to try it and let me know of any issues/improvements that should be considered.

so you mean in the regular icecast i cant konw what bandwidth was consumed over a period of time, lets say i have a 16kbps stream and i have listeners who are connecting to my stream correct me if i am wrong... if a listener is connected for 1s he consumed 16kb for an hour it is (16x3600)kb ?

How can the total_bytes_read total_bytes_sent help in that?

The _sent value is the amount since the stream started, I am looking at providing a way of resetting that via /admin so you can do your own assessment. Whether that is enough for you is something only you can determine.

is there i parameter which can give out that values in the mount_connect ? or disconnect? or if a user disconnects he sends how many bits he have read?
