hi!
can anybody tell me how the icecast server split the log?
or put the server the logs in one file, even if the server runs for 3years?
because i dont want gigabyte-logs 
i don't find anything in the doc....

For Unix-like systems you can mv log and HUP icecast, and with 2.3 there is a trigger level for cycling logs (1G in 2.3.0) but it's more configurable in 2.3.1.
In 2.3.1, along with loglevel, you can state the <logsize> (in k) which will automatically rename to XYZ.old or if <logarchive> is set to 1 then a date extension is used.
