The key thing to see is

Quote:
[2007-05-12 13:09:11] DBUG source/get_next_buffer last 1178968140, timeout 10, now 1178968151
[2007-05-12 13:09:11] WARN source/get_next_buffer Disconnecting source due to socket timeout

so no data was received by icecast for at least 10 secs, so the stream was terminated. That leads us to the question of what liveice was doing. If it really doesn't send anything then it must be blocked on something but it's not clear on what. See if you can get any more debug out of it first.

karl.

Hello again!

Yes. LiveIce is running now! But only with playlist.

I have set VERBOSITY to 10 in liveice.cfg
Quote:
~# ./liveice
...... done
setup_pipes()...
Initialising pipes for stream 0
Successfuly set up fifo .liveice_temp_files/raw.pipe0
Successfuly set up fifo .liveice_temp_files/mpeg.pipe0
.... done.

Initialising Soundcard
16Bit 44100Hz Stereo Full Duplex
opening connection to 127.0.0.1 8000
Created Socket pair
Attempting to Contact Server
connection successful: forking process
opening pipe!...
writing password
Closing Soundcard

10303:Error: execution of /usr/local/bin/lame3.82_fast failed - make sure it's in your $PATH moron!

The binary /usr/local/bin/lame3.82_fast didn't exists on my system
I have replaced it with /usr/local/bin/lame . Now it runs well.

My new problem is that liveice didn't read from line-in. Is still quiet.
But if I unmute line-in to the speaker i can listen to the input clearly.
