Hello, I have a small problem ebim start of the IceCast

what can for a FEhler, folder indication is everything RIchtig and icecast.xml is also available under the specified path

you'll have to check the instructions that the distribution gives as /etc/init.d/icecast is not something we provide. See which user icecast is been run as and make sure if can access the xml and log files

hi? i have problems too, after runing, it write:
denis@linux:~> icecast -b -c /usr/local/etc/icecast.xml
Starting icecast2
Detaching from the console
Server startup failed. Exiting
help plz |

again the same thing, check the xml configuration and the log files. In nearly every case of a startup failure, it is because of a permission failure for the log files or listening ports.
