| hey guys.. i am like new to this all i have is the icecast server.. now i have virtualdj which i woudl like to broadcast.. and i was wondering how can i do that.. or if anyone can tell me anyway tat i can broadcast Audio to the net.. thankx and plz help |

you either tell the source client (virtualDJ!) to connect to an icecast 2 server or if it doesn't handle icecast2 then you'll need something to capture the audio. Without knowing more about the application it's hard to say.

I've a problem too. VDJ always says that it got a Failure Login 401 Error from the Icecast Server. With Winamp Plugin Sam the Server works fine.
I don' know where i can put the login name, password and mount in. there aren't any fields for that.
I am using version 3.2 of VDJ. |

You need to ask this of the people who wrote VirtualDJ. I don't know if the software is capable of being an icecast2 source client or not but 401 is authentication failure.
