Icecast Streaming Media Server

I was wondering if on future releases of Icecast if the dump-file tag can have a bit more customization.

I would like it to:
save to a defined path and save a new file every xx min or xx hours

Correct me if I am wrong, but I believe the dump-file only creates one big file at this time?

I'm running Simplecast locally to encode and archive, and my remote incoming streams are archived via streamrip.
It would be easier to just have Icecast handle since it is working the feeds anyway
