while listening /monitoring stream (ging thru shoutcast right now, till i am given icecast/radiovague stream details from friend) the received sugnal sounds like wibbly underwater music.
i SEEM to have set all up ok on dsp config.
should i have a "quality" number inserted into the "quality" field?
anything else simple that may be up?

shoutcast dsp didnt do any of this, less set up issues too, straight into it with that, may change back, |

no info to work on really, so this is complete guesswork about your stream, icecast does not do re-encoding, so odd effects to audio content will be down to the source client settings. Maybe you have a bitrate too low for the quality you wish to use.
