Hello everyone:
Not a noob, but is there a way to stream live nsv in windows using the icecast2 (HTTP) protocol? Using ICY would mean another server/port.. I want to avoid doing this if possable.. I have ideas, but, again, it becomes complex to have one server relay another and one port to overlap another.. etc etc.. it can get messy- but if I can get the nevcap app to stream in icecast2 (HTTP) protocol, that would be great. Currently, I'm trying things in "ultravox" modes.. though I'm not getting anywhere fast.. for now, its just a "loose" question..
thanks!

you may find it difficult as the nsv tools are generally done by nullsoft which only deal with the icy (2 port) protocol. Whether you could use something like vlc or similar to restream as icecast http I don't know.

thanks again, Karl
Do you suggest somthig thats lean, mean, reliable that would work well?
I guess, if all else fails. I can create a second port- then relay that port (unless I can get icecast to use 2 ICY mounts on the same port) then, I'll get stuck with the relay issue mentioned in the other post...
