Icecast Streaming Media Server

Hello. I am or rather I want to use ShoutQ for statistic and more importantly alerting functionality for my Icecast server. According to the homepage it supports icecast servers.

It works just fine setting up a statistic page for Shoutcast servers but when I try to add an Icecast server I get the following message:

The specified server does not seem to provide statistics.
Please try an alternative URL or host:port combination for this server.

I know this doesn't really has to be an Icecast issue but I still figure there should be users around this forum using some kind of email alerting system for their broadcasting channels.

Is there any configuration that needs to be done in Icecast that's by standard set in Shoutcast? Is there any better alerting solutions than ShoutQ?
