You'll find it easier to get the package from my website, kh9 currently. Do the usual configure, make/make install
You can have multiple versions installed, so your sheel will run whichever it finds first if you don't use a full path. The version number will be shown if you try to run icecast without any parameters.

Ps. How to add icecast to startup a system ?
"rc-update add icecast default" not working 
any solution ?
Btw. Icecast support access to djlogin:passw ;djlogin2:passw2 ;djlogin3:passw3 ...etc.
