I've create a second mountpoint (source to icecast) with mpd.
I installed mpd on another computer, in lan, from the one that icecast is.
So on one computer i have mpd + icecast, and on the other computer i have just mpd.
So just had to configure the second mpd, as it's supposed like the first one. That's it, nothing else to do. Same port, same host. (like 192.168.0.125 & port 8000) But has to change the mountpoint name. mount "/qcjn2.ogg" for me.
A problem i had, is that i didn't had the libshout (shout output) You can check with mpd --version, to check if you have it .
from mpd error.log i had a message avahi: output line 20 or something like that.
oh, yes and my second mpd is in puppylinux
so thats about it.. |
