Hello all.
I decided to change/switch the server of my radio, webpage etc to new one, better and a lot lot faster. Note that the host is completely different.
My theme is the following:
I submitted to several pages and itunes radio etc, which everybody mainly they request the ip of the stream and now is the http://70.86.86.146/stream.m3u
Will I have to inform aaaaaaaaaaaaaall the sites or will that happen automatically, once I enter the new nameservers ???
p.s.: the domain and the handling of it, will remain to my first server, because I purchased it from them. _________________ www.freshwebradio.com |

If you are asking about the stream directory, then it should be automatically updated when you restart icecast with the corrected entry <hostname> in the xml. If you are listed in other places then you'll have to look at what procedures they use to maintain that entry.

Hello Karl.
ok about the icecast. I knew that.
I had a thought just a minute ago and tell me if that can work.
The new server gives me the opportunity to add ips that I want with any numbers that I want.
If I put as new ip 70.86.86.146 and from the panel of the domain change only the nameservers to point to my new server, will that work???? or is it silly as a thought already? _________________ www.freshwebradio.com |
