No file, no audio serving.
It seems to me that the \web folder may be incomplete. Also \admin folder, as the kh34a build has many other files inthere than this final release.
I copied some over, it works, but looks really strange. Definitely not like a final release should.
Tried both with the default config.xml, and my own from kh34a - the same. Also tried both service and gui executable - same results. |

This is the win32 platform which has a different build procedure from the rest. Win32 is not a main platform for us, I've done some checking and the problem looks to be down to the default win32 xml. The path settings for ../web and ../admin should be ./web and ./admin. The content of those directories looks to be ok.
I'll update the win32 build with that later today.

It's not only that.
I removed the extra dot, but I still have problems running it on port 8080. If I change the port to 12000, things seem to be OK. These problems did not appear on KH34a!
In addition, there are problems with unicode chars on the status.xsl and others.
I think I'll stick to KH34a... I understand that Win32 is not a major platform for you, but if you do create a Win32 build too, I think it should be done properly. |

You need to be clearer on the problems that you are seeing, email me the details if there is a privacy concern. The port 8080 and stats problems need describing.
When I get chance to et on the win32 box again I'll rebuild the win32 package with the fixed default xml.

I have again a problem:
| Code: |
| [2009-07-14 09:44:47] EROR xslt/ problem reading stylesheet "C:\_IceCastSrv\web/status.xsl" |
I have this in my icecast.xml:
| Code: |
<paths>
<webroot>C:\_IceCastSrv\web</webroot>
<adminroot>./admin</adminroot>
<alias source="/" dest="/status.xsl"/>
<logdir>C:\_demand\log\IceCast</logdir>
</paths> |
xsl files not containing/referring to the stylesheet display fine. style.css is there!
The interesting part is that this error appears only on one of my servers, the other one, handling the heavy traffic, having the same paths config as above, has no such problem. Win32 kh10 both. Tried kh10pre too, the same issue.
What can it be? |

haven't heard of this one. Are you thinking is has something to do with the / differences? you could try a manual translation by getting the /admin/stats.xml and using
xsltproc status.xsl stats.xml
If there is some library issue then that will also fail

I have no xsltproc under win32.
Unfortunately the page doesn't display, it shows 404 in the browser. |

check which DLLs are being used for your icecast (specifically libxslt and libxml2). You could have an old one on the system showing an issue (depends.exe should show them).

Oh, got it. When I copied the new status.xsl to the server (copy/paste file contents), the new file saved as ANSI not UTF8. It was misinterpreted by the parser.
All OK now. |
