Hello community,
I want to built a sort of "meta" or "caching" streamserver, that has a listing of other radiostations in it, wehere you can connect to.
The reason for it is, that we want to prevent user from directly connecting to the internet to save traffic. Instead they are going to connect to the streamserver and the streaserver is passing the traffic from an open webradio to the user. Is that possible with icecast?

you want a series of on-demand relays? The question then is are those relays subject to change, if so then you'll have to trigger a reload of the xml

I dont think that they change. htey are big radio stations with fixed ips |
