Hi,
I want to develop an internet radio player integrated with icecast.What sort of info should i send to the icecast server to tune in to a radio station i want to connect to.I checked libshout source code but couldnt be able to get the api's needed to connect with a radio station that uses icecast .Any help would be highly appreciated.

it's basically http, ie GET /mountpoint http/1.1 etc

the http spec is large so no, however if you go to http://www.w3.org/Protocols/ then you should get an idea.
