| Can I write my icecast stream as a second or third file entry in a pls file, to use as a backup if a shoutcast stream dies? The Shoutcast streams are written http://IP:Port and work fine that way, but icecast streams don't load that way. |

A playlist can contain as many streams as you wish. Just for clarification, a stream url of just http://ip:port means that the mountpoint requested is / so you can have that with icecast.

you haven't said what your stream link is, but one thing for sure is that it won't be the last one as that is an m3u playlist url not a stream.
