You will need a transcoder, whether it is combined like streamtranscoder or made from a combination of utilities is your choice.

Hi and Thanks for your help. i am having problems getting it to read the AAC+ stream, I have installed the plugin it requires but will not send data to the icecast server, however it does come up as a mount on icecast.
I am using streamtranscoderV3 |

is the problem reading the stream or decoding it?, If it's the former then check that you are actually getting data from the server with a normal player or even curl/wget.

if winamp plays the content fine then it would indicate that the problem is decoding the aacp in your streamtranscoder, not within icecast.

StreamTranscoder v3 doesn't support AAC+ as an input type. It only works as an output so long as the right DLL is in place. _________________ ++I; |
