Hi buddies, I'm Nicolás from Salto, a little town located in Argentina. I'm 23 years old and I'm starting a project called Radio deUNA!, an interactive radio station with NGO's spots.
I've been using a Giss.tv account, but since a few days, I'm having troubles in sending data fast enough in order to keep the audio smooth at 128 kbps. Using WinMTR I can see that there's a big package loss that makes my stream doesn't work properly at 128 kbps, even at lower bitrates.
I called my ISP (Speedy Telefónica 3MB) and they say they can do nothing, they doesn't give user support to these specific kind of things. Besides, I checked my connection using SpeedTest.net and everything goes fine.
My upload speed is 512 kbps, so technically I think I can deliver audio in such a quality. Besides, I've been using Giss servers for about 4 months and I've never had any buffering issues before.
As regards for this, I'm worried, I'd like to know if there are other servers (better if they're near Argentina), other communities like GISS or Radio Vague in order to test my connection with them. Let me know if there are other people who would be interested in my project.
Finally, I used a demo stream at stream24.es and there's no package loss. But I can't afford a paid streaming because I don't want to make money from this project.
Any help would be really appreciated.
Best regards,
Nico from Argentina |
