I have found some references to this possibly being worked on, but nothing that says that it has actually been implemented.
My Icecast server will be streaming a community radio station that may occasionally "disappear" for various reasons. Is there a way to detect the absence of incoming content and automatically switch to streaming pre-recorded content until the incoming signal returns? |

You can eventually have a fallback mount. A fallback can grab audience when source disappears. _________________ Epsilon Friends Radio Icecast Radio on CentovaCast admin panel. Icecast hosting |

| Thanks! That looks like exactly what I'm wanting to accomplish. |
