I'm fairly new to this stuff so please bear with me. I'm working on a flash based player which would be located on my server. However, the streams i'm trying to connect to are on a different domain and a cross-domain policy file is not an option so i need to come up with some sort of proxy php workaround.
I'm not great with php but I've searched around for a solution and come up something like this:
http://www.instantanarchy.com/radio/radio.php
which connects me to the stream and returns some basic info.
my question is how do i format this data in php so that it will load into flash when targeted by the loadSound method. At the moment i'm just using the basic mysound.loadSound("stream IP/port") to connect to the stream in flash but i have also read about a netstream based solution which may or may not be the better way to approach it. Thanks. |
