I have an icecast server set up that appears to be working great locally.
My goal is to use my icecast server to listen to my own stream on my private network, while pushing the same stream to another icecast server on the internet.
I telnet into my server, log in as ADMIN, then become oper.
I then look for the source stream ID.......in my case, it's usually 0 (zero)....
then issue the command:
relay push 0 http://targeticecastserver.net:8000/mount -p password -g genre
The telnet session immediately closes and the icecast server process is
no longer running.
icecast.log shows the command, as typed, but does not show the icecast server shutting down.
I wish that having the other server 'pull' from my server were an option, but it is not, as I have no control over it, or it's configuration.
I was wondering if this is a known issue with 1.3.12, or is there something I am missing?
Do the newer version have an equivalent to this feature?
Thank you |
