Icecast Streaming Media Server

Hi, I do not own this server but the owner is running icecast on it and is letting my station use it. His english is bad and couldn't write this so he will be able to do more technical aspects compared to me.

I have used icecast before and with a predone service I got a pls along with the other streaming formats.

This one does not have pls and he does not know how or what to do to install or get it. Is this possible. iPhone streaming is incredibly important to be frank as a lot of our listeners use it.

You can build your own PLS file which makes references to the server you're streaming off of. It's really simple to do.

IIRC, IceCast only generates m3u and xspf style lists.
