Icecast Streaming Media Server

I currently run a station where we broadcast 5 hours on saturdays and sundays. We want to have music playing all the time. A lot of things like Ices and other things wont work on our server as it's a Linux server. We can't pay for anything. A friend owns the server so its not like a company and there is no control panel or anything.

many people run ices on linux so I'm not sure where you get that idea from.
