|
|
Hello All,
I'm running kh21e on a centos 5.4 2.6.18-164.15.1.el5 box. I've been running kh21e now for about 2 weeks without issue. It just recently started to crash (process goes away) with nothing logged to error.log or to the console even with the debug enabled in the log options. It's happening about every hour now.
Doesn't appear to be a cpu or memory issue
load average: 0.00, 0.02, 0.02
Mem: 1035132k total, 340768k used, 694364k free, 18884k buffers
Suggestions?

try kh22e and if that fails, try and get me some details about the crash. Do a
make clean debug
then run icecast with
catchsegv .../icecast -c .../icecast.xml
or if you know how to extract a backtrace from a core file then send me that.

Is catchsegv suppost to output to somewhere? I ran it with catchsegv and it stopped again with kh22e but I do not seeing any output.
The last entries in the error.log look like this.

The server always seems to stop with those exact lines in the error.log. I should also point out that the above repeats itself every minute or so. |

catchsegv is wrapper to dump the backtrace to screen on a typical crash. What is shown there is very odd. increase the log level to 4 and run again, send me the details by email (including xml).
