Hello...
I recently set up Icecast for streaming video in Theora format. It was all working properly for a while, when all of a sudden, my source clients could no longer connect. An examination of the server logs revealed that the server was sending back a 403 error and refusing to let them connect. The next day, however, it worked properly again. It has been doing this off and on for about a week since I set the server up.
It doesn't matter which source client I use, ezstream, nsvsvsrc and the shoutcast DSP all have the same result.
This is with no changes in the configuration file. I can't see anything that would cause this to happen.
It's the latest version, installed from emerge, running on a gentoo server.
I can post my config file if it's necessary.
EDIT: Fixed the problem. Apparently, it thought it had already reached the maximum number of allowable sources, even though I had it set at 2 which is more than I'm actually even using. Raising the max sources to 5 solved the problem.
Thanks anyway! |
