Can you be specific, what type of data is to be played in soundcard so that ices 2 or liveice captures it... and does liveice or ices need any supporting software

liveice needs an mp3 encoder to be installed, it supports a few but I recommend LAME. You might need to buy an encoder licnece to use it commercially.
