| Does anyone know if there is a bug or something that makes Icecast crash when some client disconnects? Im still using Windows but planning to go Linux now cause its more stable and I have more experience in it. Thanks! |

There's no bug like that that we KNOW about. But you forgot to mention things like what version of icecast you're running... maybe you're using a really old version?
If that's not it, please give us all the details you possibly can. Icecast should never, ever crash, even on windows. |

Its actualy a realy old version, Icecast 2.2. I`m gonna change it for the lastest one cause I`ve gotta solve the problem realy quickly but what I realy wanna do is change the whole system and install Linux. It`s a dedicated server so we don`t worry a lot about security but I`m going to connect it to the internet to have a backup line and to do maintence from home and then I`ll really need a good FIREWALL like the one we have in the Linux S.O..
