| I am streaming with Icecast and for the past couple of days the radio station disconnects after 10 - 20 seconds of playtime. I have talked to several listeners and they are all experiencing the same thing. The hosting company listened for over a hour and says he could not find anything wrong. Please help |

The fact that the hosting company had no problems indicates that the stream in itself is ok. The problem would then stem from the icecast to listener links. The question then is in what way does the player terminate. Is it because they are too slow, ie cannot maintain the bitrate required so eventually drop off, or are the players disconnecting. As always, looking at the logs can provide useful information.
