I have a problematic stream which is using ten mountpoints as well as different bitrates, formats (aac/mp3), and a single Ices auto dj.

Recently I have noticed the process will climb and climb in memory usage until the server actually crashes.

32008 12538 0.2 80.9 13463424 13293460 ? Sl Feb13 9:46 /usr/bin/icecast -c /home/centovacast/vhosts/xxxxxxxxx/etc/server.conf

Has anyone seen this type of behavior before?

of course, and in many cases I've fixed the causes of those problems.

Well I have never seen anything like this in all my years. The Icecast version is 2.3.2 on CentOS 5.7 - 64 bit. The source is connecting with SAM for multiple mountpoints, bitrates, and formats. I say that again because I have never witnessed so much variety from a single dj. Does that make any kind of difference?

Thanks! I also be in touch with the dj to see if he has made any recent changes.
