I was curious to know, is it possible to setup IceCast like how you can with ShoutCast DNAS ?
Im currently using Shoutcast on my server to point to my streams using
mydomain.com:port# and doing a relay set in the sc_serv.conf file that points to the main stream server.
Now in looking at things I tried to do the same thing with IceCast, but wasnt able to duplicate the same way.
Would I need to install the icecast files on my server in order to run a relay like I did with shoutcast dnas ?
Any insite would be grand.

Your question is far too vague to be specific, but you can certainly map the / request to any stream (if not set as that mountpoint) and relay an existing stream and listen to various ports all on the same icecast, that is as well as have multiple icecasts so in short yes, you should be able to do what you already have with shoutcast.
