I'm having the following problem:
I set up a max-source count of 3:
One for a streamtranscoder which is allways connected, one for an ices source which streams the fallback-stream which also allways connected - and of course one for the live DJs.
The problem is: When all those 3 sources are connected, and another DJ tries to connect as source, he CAN connect - even though he shouldn't be able to do this (remember: max sources: 3 -> 1 ices + 1 transcoder + 1 DJ allready connected which in fact ARE 3 sources)
Anyone know why this happens?

From your description, that shouldn't be happening, maybe a check over the error log will be more informative. It may need level 4 for all info to be logged.
