Icecast Streaming Media Server

Can u guys help me plz.

I really dont know wat to do. I istalled the server thing but i dont know how to set my sam2 to start encoding.

Can u guys tell me exactly wat to write in each field, like wats in the Host, password, port, mount .... and in the relay, oh and how to check the # of listeners and do the kick page.

there's no way we can say what you need to put in those fields as we have no idea about your setup. You will need an IP and port of the server, the mountpoint can be say /stream.mp3 or /stream.ogg and the password needs to match your icecast source password setting. I suspect you are not using a relay so ignore that.

i`m in almost excactly the same situation as you... have the server up and going... just need to link oddcast to icecast, so i can get some music going
dont have any clue how to do it

If the /status.xsl shows in a browser then you have icecast up and running. The next configuration is within oddcast, IIRC you select add encoder (or something similar) and provide the details for the icecast server.

You asked about the following fields...

Host - the DNS name or IP address the icecast server is on.
Password - the source password you have configured in icecast
port - the port number that icecast is listening on.
mount - how do you identify this stream eg /stream.ogg
