|
|
I've just tried using ices2.0-kh60a, it compiles fine and runs up fine, but complains that the JACK server isn't running and exits. However it definitely is and i have other programs hooked into it. I did check out the code that connects it and its the same command that connects some of my code fine, so i'm at a bit of a loss!
Is there a setting in the xml file i'm missing or could get wrong. I've used the example jack file and not changed it too much. My input section is this:
<input>
<module>jack</module>
<param name="channels">2</param>
<param name="clientname">ices</param>
</input>
Then i was presuming i can use the basic jack_connect to connect the ports once its started.
Any ideas? |

Interestingly if you change the <user> to root it doesn't give the error about JACK but simply bombs out....
I've got an strace if anyone make make more sense of it that i can! All the libraries are loading in fine, but it seems to get some kind of unkown signal. I'm really not sure whats going on.
