Icecast Streaming Media Server

I want my listeners to know the title of the previous song and the title of the next song. Is it possible to do that whith icecast server ?

Use the playlist log to get the previous metadata information.

Ok ! How i can do that ? where is this file on the icecast server.

I use Winamp and odcast on a Window machine as the source, and my server is on a debian distribution.

It is an optional setting, but it will be in the directory specified in <logdir> in a file specified in <playlistlog>

i suppose that the parameter <logdir> is specified in the icecast.xml file ?
and <playlistlog> too.

can you describe me the manner to do that. please. use examples, and explain me where exactly i must put the values in the icecast.xml file.

Look at the samples xml files we ship with icecast in the conf directory, you'll see where the tags go.
