Icecast Streaming Media Server

i`m new at the online radio .. been working on it for 3 days i have sams working and i have icecast working with it .. but my friends as well as myself cant find it where its playen 2 . It shows its streaming the audio . But have no idea where ,lol i`ve looked all over the forums and no ones asked or says how to edit the config files where to find them to change your YP .. i need some help ...

If you mean where are they advertised then that depends on the exact settings you have for the stream and icecast. The icecast xml lists <directory> tags which indicate which server to list on, the main one being dir.xiph.org, but each stream to list needs to be marked as public (source client or via the xml). As always check the error log for more detail.

yeai know there listed at dir.xiph.org but mines not there .. ??? it mite be but cant figger out under what listing cause it won`t let me edit the config file .it mite if i could find it to load a yp name so its loading the preset ..the log u asked about is empty ..

Well you need to locate the xml file so that you know what is configured. We ship a sample one but as you haven't said anything about your system so it's hard to say where to look.
