Hello there,
I am new to all this, I have the Icecast server setup and it all works very well, when people connect, the live stream plays etc. However, I want to be able to play a random file BEFORE the live stream cuts in when someone connects, can this be done? Do I need other software?

Can you tell me, will this play random files though? I want it to pick at random from 12 or so files, can that be done?

The intro option specifies a file not from a range of files. A random selection could be coded up but it's not something I've heard much demand for.
