Hi forum members

I have a problem with my icecast installation on win server 2003. Everything works fine - until i log off (or quit the program). Service is installed and running. But when i log off the server, the stream breaks - so i think the service isn't running properly. Anyone any suggestions?

Hello kritze,

I think, the service must be run in own account, create an account with password.

Sorry, I have the german Windows (XP).

Go to: services -> Icecast Media Server

Step one:
stop the service

Step two:
change the log in data for this service to e.g.:
User: IMS
Password: <changeme>
eventually you must change the user rights of the file and folders.
