|
|
I have icecast2 running, and I need to stop and restart it in order for a new xml file to take.
I am running under Ubuntu. The new xml file has increased sources in it, so that I can add more streams. If someone has a better way to do this rather than stopping and restarting icecast, I am open to suggestions!
Thanks. |

change the <sources> setting then send the HUP signal (kill -HUP ...)

I have changed to sources, issued the KILL command, but I am still not able to connect more sources.
Any other thoughts I can try? Hate to restart the system to try to fix this. |

no, but check the error log for errors. Obviously chroot cases will have issues but those can be worked around. It may be something else that's preventing it.
