Icecast Streaming Media Server

Hi,
I have installed windows version of icecast.Then edited the icecast.xml file as follows:

and restarted the icecast server.I have configured jetcast client with my icecast server.The details is as follows:
External Server: Icecast 2.x server
Mount: /example.mp3
Hostname:localhost
Password:pass123
port:8000

and started the broadcasting thro jetcast.
When i try to browse the url as : http://localhost:8000/example.mp3
I get ERROR as The file you requested could not be found.Please help me out.

Check the error log for what happens when the source client connects. Usually it is either that the source client is reject because of authentication or a firewall is blocking access.

Hi,
I am still not able to connects to my icecast server..I checked with my firewall too...I disabled the firewall too...But still not able to connect..I am using jetcast as my client and server icecast 2xPlease help me out!!

As I said, check the error log. The attempt by the source sounds like it's failing but you need to verify that is occurring, as I do not have access to your logs.
