Hi icecast users.
i read on the internet, that icecast uses p2p.
Is this really true?
I tried icecast along time ago. But it didnt seem to use any p2p structure.
Any help on this i greatly epreciated! |

icecast is not p2p although you can setup a large number of icecasts in a net or ring to load share.

Icecast itself might not P2P, but Here is a guide on how to setup P2P radio - Icecast is one of the required steps.
Did you try it? |

There's also streamerp2p.com ... and that client can log into an Icecast stream for its source data.
Neither program really seems to be much in development at this point, unfortunately. _________________ ++I; |
