I'm relying from a master shoutcast to my icecast server, relaying is working fine but I want to change the default mount for it to customized.
I want to customize the mount-name from /stream.nsv to my-radio and http://myserver:port/stream.nsv to http://myserver:port/radio.mp3 and do not want to show Current Listeners and Listeners Peak.
Please note that I have not defined any mount.

use the local-mount setting in <relay> to use a different mountpoint locally and if you don't want to show the listener and peak counts on the web pages then edit the status.xsl file and remove/comment those parts.

thanks appreciated.
I'm having another issue with relay it disconnects me after some time and then i have to reconnect. The source (master relay) do not get disconnected and is there any option that automatically reconnect a listener when stream is back again otherwise when they are disconnected it keep playing old songs. |

If it disconnects then there has to be a reason, a timeout of end of stream. icecast will retry a configured relay every <master-update-interval> seconds.

| thanks for your quick reply, the master shoutcast is located on same box and i m using localhost to connect to it, I don't understand the reason of its time out. Does this <master-update-interval> also works for shoutcast relay? |

yes. If you are getting s source timeout then icecast is not receiving any data from shoutcast (typically 10 seconds).

firstly 2.3.2 is the current release not 2.3.1. secondly the master-update-interval is not a relay setting but a global one (there should be no description or example that lists it in a relay). Lastly the timeout line shows something odd which I'm not sure what to make of

That is not 10 seconds, more like 65 seconds which is very odd as I haven't heard of anyone suffering for time lapses like that before. If the clock was being changed then this could show this sort of behavior, it could also affect other time critical applications you may be running.

personally I prefer keeping the hwclock as UTC. Do you have any utils that are changing the time like ntp. Maybe more of the log is required to check the timestamps leading up to the timeout. Have you updated to 2.3.2 yet?

that would indicate that you are using an incorrectly modified xsl page in webroot/adminroot. Check the error log for specifics.
